Specialized Care, Not Just Another Appointment
Why We Started
We realized that for patients with neurological conditions, the standard options weren't enough. Inpatient rehab offers only a brief two-week window, and high-volume outpatient clinics often lack the specialized equipment, time, and support necessary for true neuro-recovery.
We saw therapists leaving neuro departments to work at "mill" clinics, only to be overwhelmed by volume and unable to practice the specialty they loved. We refused to work that way. We believe you shouldn't be treated like a number, and your therapist needs the time and resources to focus entirely on you.
Our Origins
FAM Rehabilitation was founded in 2023 with a specific vision: to provide high-level neurological rehabilitation in a setting that allows for relationships AND results. FAM stands for Function And Mobility, because that is our focus. Getting you back to living life uninhibited by injury or disability.
Before opening FAM, Olivia honed her neuro rehabilitation expertise at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital (a Level 1 Trauma Center in Syracuse, New York) and later at Bacharach. Olivia became a Board-Certified Neurologic Clinical Specialist in 2021 and utilizes that expertise to train and develop new therapists that join the FAM team.
Our Space
In June 2025, we moved to our new location to better serve our patients and our team. We designed this space to be more than just a gym—it’s a place where focused work happens, but also where dignity is respected. We prioritized creating a space that supports not just the physical work of the patient, but the mental well-being of our staff, ensuring they are always recharged and ready to give you their best.
